This is a scene that was inspired by a Games Character called Vega in the Street Fighter series. He is one of my favourite characters in the game, not to play as but more for his cool image. He’s famous for wearing a mask and a rather large claw.

I’ve tried to portray his personality though the various objects in the scene. He’s known for being vain and romantic with a psychotic and criminal background. I’ve re-used some of the objects that I made earlier to build his character up. The mask was created using plane modeling to form the shape.

I’ve quickly modelled some perfume bottles that i’ve made up. I’ve used the Twist modifier on the left bottle, a geosphere to create the shape for the middle and Lathe modifier on the right bottle.

Once I’ve added the lighting and material they should render pretty well, especially with the reflection of the metal and the caustics created from the glass and liquid.

I saw this small decorative building in Manchester and thought it would be a good practice to model. It’s mainly made up of simple shapes, the only difficult part was figuring out how to make the grid pattern as one object which was later solved by bridging the faces together.

This scene was inspired during a dinner at a restaurant. I saw the objects on the table and thought it would be nice to model them. I took some photographs at the time to use them as a reference later on.

The objects were made mainly using spline and Lathe modifier, the teapot was made by myself and not the generic teapot tool. I’ve tried to space the objects evenly to create a nice composition.

Another quick and simple model. The bottle was done similar to the wine bottle but with the additional Twist Modifier on the top faces to give a subtle screw shape. The tablets and capsules were reference copy and scattered about to give a natural composition.
