3D – Watch [WiP]

3D Watch 1 [WiP]

3D Watch 2 [WiP]

Another model done. I had started modeling this watch a long time ago but it was left unfinish. After understanding how to use the tools better, I have now cleaned the polygons up and made the geometry much neater and simpler. I’ve also tweaked the edges on the strap to give a much natural used look and applied the Bend modifier.

3D – Spectacles [WiP]

3D Capo 1 [WiP]

3D Glasses 2 [WiP]

Here’s a complete 3D model of my spectacles. Similar techniques was used like the Guitar Capo model. I’ve adjusted the pivot points on the frame to allow movements of the ear piece side of the frame.

Symmetry modifier was used to help speed the modeling process and keeping it neat and tidy. Overall i’m pleased with the result and hopefully it’ll look even better after texture and render.

3D – Guitar Capo [WiP]

3D Capo 1 [WiP]

3D Capo 2 [WiP]

Here is a 3D model of a guitar accessory known as a Capo. This is my first proper attempt at 3D modeling and I am quite pleased with the outcome.

I begun with a profile picture of the object and placed it as a background reference image, I’d then started to model using just a simple box converted into a editable poly and extruded the faces. Extra edges were connected on and lofting was used on the spring mechanism.

I’ve tried to keep the model all in quads polygons (4 vertices) to keep it clean and also give a neater finish for the Meshsmooth modifier which was later applied for a smooth result.

The modeling side is complete so all it needs now is just texturing and rendering which I will do later.
